You do not need an account to use BridgeYO, and you never have to give your name to browse resources.

We practice data minimization. We only collect what we need to help you find local support, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone.

If you use the chat to find help, we use the details you share only to match you with the right services.

We use minimal local storage for preferences like your theme, and we collect basic, non-identifying analytics to keep the platform working reliably.

Your privacy is subject to legal limits required under Ontario and Canadian law: imminent risk of serious harm, child protection under the Child, Youth and Family Services Act, or a valid court order.

BridgeYO is a free resource-navigation platform. It is not a healthcare provider, a counselling service, a government agency, or a substitute for professional care. Using it does not create a doctor-patient, therapist-client, or legal advisor relationship.

Listing an organization does not mean we endorse it, and not listing one does not mean we do not. A listing is our best effort to connect you with a real service, not a guarantee of quality or availability.

Once you leave BridgeYO or contact an outside service, their own policies and terms apply. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of third-party websites.

Community services change often. We review listings regularly, but some information may be out of date. If you notice something wrong, tell us and we will verify it before publishing a change.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of BridgeYO after a change means you accept the revised terms.

The "BridgeYO" name and logo are trademarks of BridgeYO. You may not copy, scrape, republish, or reuse our content, or use our name or logo to suggest you are affiliated with us, without our written permission.

Speak Up is a non-partisan channel for youth aged 14 to 24. BridgeYO does not endorse any party or candidate and does not take a position on the issue. We are the conduit, not the advocate.

We review every submission before it is published and check it with the author first. We name institutions and roles, not private individuals, unless they are public officials.

If you are under 18, we need a parent or guardian to be okay with your submission before we publish it.

We send published pieces to the responsible office and publish their response, or note clearly when no response was received after 30 days.
